Build Self Esteem

If you can identify it, you can change it.

If you think badly of yourself, if you have low self esteem, it can hold you back in so many ways in your life. But the good news is that you can easily start to do something about it.
If you decide today that you are going to improve your self esteem, then changes will start to happen and you will start to get the things in live you want and need.
The simple fact is, that the way you think about yourself determines how other people react to you.
Some example of the sort of low self esteem thinking that you can easily work on are;

  1. Nothing you do seems to go right
  2. You believe that most people do not like you.
  3. You believe that you are not attractive.
  4. You choose something and it turns out to be the worst one.
  5. You are afraid to converse with others for fear that what you say might not make sense.
  6. You feel swallowed up in a whirlpool of frustration.

If you have any of the above thoughts from time to time or more regularly, then you are most likely suffering from self esteem.
You might ask yourself  ‘What’s wrong with me’? ……………………………..Well the answer is ‘Your thoughts’.

How to go about addressing your low self esteem

Make a decision that from today you will take control of your life. Believe that you are a good capable person, and that you can make changes to your life. You do not have to accept things the way they are.
Stop thinking that the world is closing in on you. Be determined to achieve what you desire. Stop blaming other people for your situation, it is not upto them to decide how you life your life, that is your choice. Equally the world is not your problem to solve.Do what you can, and be a good person, but ultimately there will be things you cant change. Don’t beat yourself up over these things.
From this moment on, begin the process of self esteem improvement. Decide what you want from life (start small if grand plans scare you initially) and believe that your deserve it can will have it. Then move forward thinking the right way and being determined to successful. Do this and your will be successful.
Once you have done this with a small desire, savour how good it feels, congratulate yourself and then do it again. Get used to the habit of thinking you can, and making it happen.
Now be warned, from time to time your will get setbacks. You might get close to the  success your wanted, but not get there as soon as your planned. If this happens to your don’t lose heart or take it to heart. Simply stick with your plans and when the time is right you will get the success you want.

Without high self esteem, life can seem hard. If you change your thinking and begin to see yourself as a good worthy person on top of the world, life will get much easier. Go one treat yourself, and make that special effort to be what you really want to be.
